Having participated in national science fairs since he was 12 years-old, Aidan saw students developing innovative solutions to some of the world’s largest problems. However, there was no platform to share these ideas beyond the fairs, nor engage young people in STEM outside of the science fair community.
Aidan formed Developing Innovations to inspire, celebrate and promote STEM among youth. It started as a forum for students to share their knowledge and encourage each other to be STEM leaders. Developing Innovations transformed into a non-profit organization with multiple STEM outreach programs, a mentor program as well as events, camps and workshops that reach more than 20,000 students. Aidan has expanded his mission outside of STEM with the We Care Program, which raises awareness and funds for homelessness, hunger, special education and bullying in his community.
