Architectural designs of the new Vaughan Healthcare Centre Precinct were showcased at the Toronto of the Future exhibition on June 1 to 5 at the MetroCentre/Metro Hall Toronto. The event highlighted development, urban infrastructure and transportation ideas and how they will shape and define the next 50 years in the evolution of Metro Toronto.
The Landscape Concept for the Vaughan Healthcare Centre Precinct, a new mixed-use urban community at Major Mackenzie and Highway 400, promotes healthy living and wellness that will support the design of the future Vaughan Hospital. Inspired by Vaughan’s rural landscape character, the landscape approach is to promote a connection with nature, while establishing a sustainable and green framework for future urban development.
