A Whitchurch-Stouffville company is getting nearly $200,000 in grant money to help women entrepreneurs.
BizZone Internet Group Inc. of Gormley is receiving $198,130 from the Government of Canada to develop and pilot an “innovative, web-based, one-stop shop to facilitate access to local supports and resources” for women entrepreneurs, it was announced Tuesday.
The announcement was made by Oak Ridges-Markham MP Paul Calandra on behalf of the Hon. Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Canada’s Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women during an event in Markham.
