Canada’s first Lego attraction is officially open to parents and kids looking to explore the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Vaughan Mills mall in Vaughan, York Region on Friday.
The 34,000-square-foot centre indoor facility is devoted to the toy building blocks — and is geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families. Features include Lego rides, classes from a Lego Master Model Builder, a 4D cinema and a Toronto “miniland” featuring LEGO structures based on well-known Toronto landmarks. There are also blocks and accessories at the $12-million centre that can accommodate 1,200 visitors a day.
