Markham, October 15, 2014 – Toshiba of Canada Limited recently relocated to a new head office in Markham, Ontario. The impressive modern facility incorporates a new Medical Systems Training Center equipped with the most advanced educational tools and equipment. Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation is a leading worldwide provider of medical diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions including CT, X-ray, ultrasound and MRI diagnostic imaging systems.
The new Training Center was officially opened on October 15th. It includes a demonstration area utilizing Toshiba’s Infinix-i cardiovascular imaging technology to facilitate technical presentations, demonstrations, clinical and technical support and training. The opening ceremony was attended by Bob Eastick, VP and GM of Toshiba Medical Systems Division, Olivier Poitier, Business & Product Manager XR/VL, and Markham Mayor, Frank Scarpitti.
The new medical systems training facility is in line with Toshiba’s commitment to putting customers first by providing the industry’s best service, support and training throughout the life of its technology. This new training center is now one of many Toshiba world-class Training Academies located in North America and across the globe, providing learning opportunities for clinicians, biomedical engineers and technologists.
